After recently retiring from the classroom, I’m far from finished with teaching. I have 36 years of classroom and over 20 years of tutoring experience. I am currently a field supervisor for student teachers at Washington State University Tri-Cities. I am passionate about helping struggling readers unlock their full potential.
I use proven, research-based methods like UFLI and Really Great Reading to address the unique needs of each student. I work with students in kindergarten through the 6th grade and many of my students have been diagnosed with dyslexia.
I enjoy creating a supportive and safe learning environment where your child can develop foundational skills, build reading fluency, and, most importantly, start enjoying the learning process!
